Bunches, first established in 1989, is one of the UK’s leading online retailers of fresh flowers, plants and other gifts. They utilise a supply base from different countries and approached WoodenBox UK in late 2014 to see if we could provide a competitively-priced alternative to their existing plastic-lined wooden crate used for various gifts in the range.

After a couple of samples, the crate itself was very simple to provide but providing a plastic lining was something that we had never previously experienced. Using our own extensive supply network, we were able to find an appropriate lining and our team of experienced  assemblers were able to learn a new skill in gluing the liners into position.

Eighteen months on and we have now supplied well over 10,000 of these units in more than one colour.

Bunches experience a number of high seasonal peaks in demand and WoodenBox UK has been able to work with them to ensure a safe and reliable source of supply.
